Hopla is an series for very young children, created by the Belgian illustrator Bert Smets. The series is a 3D CGI animation filled with sound and musical effects. The funny music and colourful images go hand in hand and form a perfect unity. Hopla stimulates children's natural curiosity by playing memory games and guessing games, repeating objects, counting, playing recognition games with colours and shapes and by creating landscapes that are similor to the actual world.
Hopla and his friends Onki, Nina and Lola do little things each day that mirror typical activities in the daily lives of 0-5 years old.
The series explains the functions of everyday objects, all in a very recognisable, fresh and musical context.
Children will be fascinated by the bright coulours and large, rounded forms and will playfully pick up elements from the series.
Movements are accompagnied by stimulating sounds and music.
